With the entry into force of the new FDA Law, a series of changes<\/strong> have taken place in the labeling regulations of food exported to the United States<\/strong>. In this way, the regulations of the FDA<\/a> (“Food and Drug Administration”), the US federal agency that depends on the Department of Health and that is mainly concerned with the regulation of imports of food products, has proposed changes in nutrition labeling that affects the labels of American products.<\/span><\/p>\n

The main differences with respect to previous food labeling regulations for exports in the United States<\/a> are based on a series of criteria that have to do with the contribution of the nutritional value of said foods.
